For some ClubControl systems proper functioning (Quick mail, Reports via e-mail) external SMTP server with relay option turned on is needed.
You can install your own SMTP server and use it. If you use windows 2000 or windows XP or windows 2003 server you can use IIS.
How to do it:
Go to "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Internet Information Services"
Note: If there is no "Internet Information Services" then you have to install IIS. You can do it from "Control Panel" -> "Add or Remove Programms"
Select "Default SMTP Virual Server", right-click on it and select "Properties" :

Select "Access" and press "Relay" button

In "Relay Restrictions" dialog window choose "All except the list below" and "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay"

Press OK. Now you can use this computer as SMTP server.
